1. About Spoon & Plan

Spoon & Plan is a family meal planning application operated by Raines Digital Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales. By using Spoon & Plan, you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Spoon & Plan accounts are intended for adults managing household meal planning.

3. Subscription terms

• Spoon & Plan offers free and premium subscription tiers. Premium subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings > Subscriptions.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies.
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect.

4. AI-generated content

Meal plans, recipes, and shopping lists generated by Spoon & Plan are created using artificial intelligence. While we take steps to ensure accuracy — including validating recipes against your declared allergies — AI-generated content may contain errors.

Always verify ingredients for allergens before cooking. Spoon & Plan is not liable for adverse reactions resulting from AI-generated recipes.

5. No medical advice

Spoon & Plan does not provide medical, nutritional, or dietary advice. Content is for informational and convenience purposes only. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for dietary guidance, especially regarding allergies, intolerances, or medical conditions.

6. Your content

Recipes you scan, save, or create within Spoon & Plan remain your property. By using the app, you grant us a limited licence to store and process this content to provide the service. You can export or delete your data at any time.

7. Fair usage policy

Certain subscription tiers describe features as “unlimited”. To ensure a quality experience for all users and prevent abuse, the following fair usage limits apply per calendar month:

• Family plan: up to 50 meal plan generations and 100 recipe scans per month.
• Standard plan: up to 8 meal plan generations and 15 recipe scans per month.
• Single meal swaps: up to 100 per month on the Family plan, up to 30 per month on the Standard plan.
• Saved recipes: genuinely unlimited on paid plans with no fair usage cap.

These limits are generous and designed so that normal household use never hits them. If you do reach a limit, your access resumes at the start of the next calendar month. We reserve the right to adjust these thresholds with reasonable notice.

8. Acceptable use

You agree to use Spoon & Plan in accordance with applicable laws and these terms. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, attempt to manipulate usage limits, or engage in abusive behaviour.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Raines Digital Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Spoon & Plan. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding any claim.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
